Rugged High Definition-Mission Data Recorder (HD-MDR)

Rigorously tested against high-speed military combatant craft, the HD-MDR provides sea, land, and air systems with a powerful computing system that can operate as a stand-alone MDR or as a part of a larger system to fill the need for quality, reliable, rugged missions video requirements.

Azimuth's HD-MDR integrates a multi-channel digital video recorder with platform meta-data logging capability to implement a highly capable all-in-one mission data recorder. Based on a MIL-STD-810F certified rugged and sealed computing core, the MDR offers flexibility in video and data capture, storage and operation. The MDR operates stand-alone or is easily integrated into larger platform command and control systems. Built-in Ethernet and CAN interfaces enable metadata capture from navigation, IP cameras, environmental-triggers and engine sensors.

Designed specifically for mobile applications where ruggedness, remote-control, data access and ease-of-integration is paramount, the MDR offers a non-developmental foundation with open-interfaces. Alternately, the MDR can be delivered as a turn-key standalone device requiring the least installation effort. The MDR is engineered and manufactured entirely in the USA by Azimuth. All mechanical, data, and electrical interfaces are fully specified and presented without license or royalties. Additionally, Azimuth offers design and integration assistance if desired.
